Bretagne classic ouest-france

Groupama - FDJ like a Breton team

08/28/2019

Engaged with four riders and a sports director bretons, Groupama - FDJ will be one of the most local teams of this 4th edition of Bretagne Classic - Ouest-France. The Bretons will not be there to make the figuration but to win. The new generation is quite capable of it.

In 2018, the Groupama - FDJ team had thrilled the public of the Bretagne Classic - Ouest-France seeing Olivier Le Gac take part in the good break before being ranked 7th while his young fellow and teammate Valentin Madouas took the 8th place. These two boys know their Brittany and are now to be considered as pure specialists of the breton classic. They embody the succession. In Plouay, we are waiting for a Breton winner since 1992, the year of Ronan Pensec's victory.

In this team led by Frédéric Guesdon, the Breton winner of Paris-Roubaix and Paris-Tours, we will also find the international sprinter Arnaud Démare, former winner of Milan-San Remo.

To support these riders, Groupama - FDJ appealed to experienced team members. Waiting for a victory at Plouay since 1999 with Christophe Mengin, Marc Madiot's team has reason to believe.

Valentin Madouas and Olivier Le Gac, local stars

Groupama – FDJ presented its first list of riders scheduled to Plouay under the direction of the sports director Frédéric Guesdon.

In full progression, now at ease on the biggest races of the world, he will be one of the big favorites of the day. In Brittany, nobody doubts that he can win the Bretagne Classic. This would be seen as a logical step in the evolution of his career. Everyone believe it !
